Tomboy songs
This post by Geek Porn Girl and the accompanying music videos reminded me of my deep affection for tomboys. I also cried a little the first time I heard Dar Williams' "When I was a boy". That song is like some kind of magical tear dislodging machine.

When I Was a Boy was the one that made me fall in love with Dar, hopelessly forever. I sat in the bank parking lot and sobbed as it came at me out of local public radio station. The page-outta-my-diary experience.
