I liked this video
Partly because its patently ridiculous (Possibly Chronicles of ridiculous), and partly because I think it reflects the absurdity of our guilt-based society.
I think a lot of people don't know why they're 'apologizing' to authority figures when they do so, only that they're asked to and that there are vague consequences for not doing so.
I remember in an interchange I had with a student disciplinary Admin at Humboldt State University committee due to a teacher's mistake, that went something like:
Admin: "Don't you feel bad for what you've done?"
Me: "I have no idea what I've done. Do you?"
Admin: "Well, no, but I hope you've given it some thought."
